Dear Colleagues with Special Interest in Endocrinology,
We are pleased to announce the expansion of the Journal of the ASEAN Federation
of Endocrine Societies [JAFES].
JAFES is the Journal of the
ASEAN Federation of Endocrine Societies
(AFES) for members to promote the
exchange of knowledge, to encourage
research initiatives, to facilitate collaborative
research, and to publish key findings
in a timely and focused manner that is in
the best interest of endocrine patients
and professionals in the ASEAN region.
To date, the member countries of AFES
are: Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines,
Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
JAFES is the endocrine window
between the ASEAN region and the
world, featuring papers and communications
by specialists and experts of endocrinology
worldwide.
JAFES was conceived in 1981,
first published in 1982 by the Indonesian
Society of Endocrinology, and carried
through in 1997 by the Malaysian Society
of Endocrinology. Beginning 2010, the
privilege and responsibility of publishing
JAFES is being handed over to the Philippine
Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism
(PSEM).
We at the PSEM would like to invite you and your colleagues to submit papers and
communications. For details, please write us at: JAFES@Asia.com
We look forward to receiving your contributions very soon.
